Only the best harvests, using the oldest vineyards, over 50 years old and with the lowest yields, become Duca di Montalbo. The Cru is decisive: the Montalbo district is characterised by 100% limestone marl, a 'lunar' soil surprisingly suitable for the long maturation of red wines.

Intense, transparent ruby colour, the nose explodes in bouquets of red fruit and nuances of liquorice and spices. The undergrowth of the Mediterranean bush surrounding the vineyard is found in the energising freshness of the glass, currants, juniper and blueberry, as well as juiciness from the mineral savouriness.

It is the district that identifies and distinguishes us: the wine comes from a small plot of a few thousand square metres, with old and very old vines inside. A very small production, one barrique, for a wine of great finesse and expressive elegance.

Ruberpan wine, Valpolicella Superiore DOC, was born in 2003 from vineyards in Cellore di Illasi, on Monte Garzon. The new winery is located in the prestigious Villa Cipolla Pieropan in Tregnago, in the province of Verona. The wine's name derives from ruber, a Latin term for ruby red colour, and from 'Pan', which is linked to the family surname.

With this 100% Catarratto, which has been widely planted in Sicily since very ancient times, the Mazzei family continues its efforts to enhance Sicily's indigenous grape varieties. The pedoclimatic peculiarities of the Zisola estate, with its highly calcareous soil and proximity to the sea guaranteeing excellent ventilation, combined with the low-yield bush-training method of cultivation and the characteristic acidity of Catarratto, guarantee a fresh and long-lived wine.

It is a wine that represents the elegance of wines from the Etnean territory combined with the power of the Nerello Mascalese variety. It is vinified in steel and aged for the 90% in 25 hl Salvonia oak casks, and for the 10% in 300 l tonneaux of second and third passage French oak. The nose is complex with notes ranging from black cherry to powdery hints, and the sip is rich and dense, with savoury tannins and a silky touch.

Vigna La Monaca, two hectares planted in 2011 at an altitude of 320 m a.s.l., is characterised by a soil with a more sandy texture (37.4% of sand and 12.5% of clay), which is well aerated, very draining and therefore drier, making the vines less vigorous. The north-eastern exposure ensures good luminosity but less influence from the hot summer temperatures; this means that in the hottest and driest years the vine suffers less, maintaining constant ripening. The presence of active limestone facilitates the development of aromas and the wealth of potassium favours the accumulation of sugars, aromas and anthocyanins. The low vigour, low productivity and the characteristics of the soil are favourable for a balanced and complete ripening of the grapes, more suitable for structured red wines with long ageing. The training system is espalier, with Guyot pruning and a density of 4600 vines per hectare.
Enveloping, whose dense and fine tannins make this wine an extreme expression of its terroir.

Le Sabbie dell'Etna Rosso is, together with its white variant, the progenitor of Firriato's decades-long production on Etna. The wines of the Tenuta di Cavanera Etnea Estate are elitist by birth and dedicated to exclusivity. Labels designed for and dedicated to the most demanding winelovers. Le Sabbie dell'Etna Rosso reveals itself in the glass with a delicious and complex bouquet with notes of cinnamon, black pepper, blackcurrant and cherries in spirit. Only the extraordinary terroir of Etna's northern slope, on the slopes of Europe's largest active volcano, could generate this wine with great personality. The volcanic soils of the estate are characterised by a high concentration of nutrients such as phosphorous, which determines the concentration of sugars in the must, manganese, which increases the plant's ability to defend itself from the cold, and iron, which contributes to the pigmentation of the black berry varieties, determining the brilliant colour of the grapes of the indigenous Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio.

An ancient indigenous Friulian red grape variety that is very widespread and appreciated, Refosco hides, behind an apparently rustic character, the ability to give life to great wines of extreme elegance. The nose expresses fruity aromas reminiscent of cherry, blackberry and mandarin along with notes of sweet tobacco.
The palate opens sternly, then gives way to more complex aromatic sensations; it has a very elegant tannic texture, is fresh and has a spicy persistence on the finish.

The result of the interaction between Nerello Mascalese and Etna's volcanic soils, this wine is born on terraces surrounded by chestnut and downy oak forests in an area rich in biodiversity. Soft tannins, good drinkability and freshness. It is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels, a non-invasive wood as Nerello Mascalese requires.

The soils of the island of Mozia derive from seabed of marine origin. They are sandy and loose soils. The presence of limestone is important, which causes an alkaline reaction in the soil (pH 8.2) and influences the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes.
The depth of the soil allows the sapling to develop properly. The 'Marsala style' pruning is the most appropriate for Grillo, given the low fertility at the base of the shoot. Harvesting, slightly ahead of ideal ripeness, preserves some acidity to maintain the freshness of the sip and the longevity that the white of Mozia has demonstrated over the years.
The weather on the island of Mozia was characterised by a cool spring, with good rainfall in March that ensured a good water supply to the vines throughout the production cycle. Summer was very hot and dry, but well tolerated by the alberello, the typical form of cultivation of Grillo vines on the island of Mozia.
The harvest began on 18 August, starting with the young Khoton vineyard, and continued until 28 August with the harvest from the Eastern Steps vineyards.
Perfect ripeness and health of the grapes, good sugar content and excellent structure and aromaticity of the wine.
Grappa Invecchiata d. Giù Milazzo 200 ml is the result of a skilful blend of different reserves of Inzolia grappa, aged separately in medium-toasted oak barrels for a minimum of 10 years and up to over 20 years (the first barrels were filled in the mid 1990s). A slow and patient maturation with final blending, after ageing in wood of the different masses, for an unconventional grappa.

San Lucio is the first large vineyard identified on the Regaleali Estate, from which the first and subsequent editions of Rosso del Conte were born. It covers about 7 hectares, 5.5 of which were planted in 1959 with mixed Perricone and Nero d'Avola vines, while a portion of about 1.5 hectares was planted in 1965 with Nero d'Avola alone. The altitude is 480 metres above sea level, with a south-southeast exposure. The soil is yellowish brown, loamy-sandy, partly calcareous, with a slight presence of skeleton; the pH is slightly alkaline (8.5). Regaleali's oldest vineyard usually confers medium vigour to the vines, a prerequisite for balanced ripening of red and medium-late grapes. It is able to withstand the influence of extreme climates, whether hot or cold, and produces a few grams of grapes per plant, with incredible constancy in quality. It is bush-trained, the oldest and most widespread form of cultivation in the semi-arid regions of the Mediterranean. The planting density also remains classic, at 4,400 vines per hectare, obtained by arranging the vines at a distance of 1.5 metres from each other. At Regaleali, short pruning is adopted for red varieties, with three/four spurs of two buds.
Short pruning is often combined with the presence of a brace to tie off the shoots that develop from the spurs.
The two varieties, Perricone and Nero d'Avola, have a similar vegetative cycle: they are fairly late grapes, ripening on average between late September and early October. A faithful expression of the terroir from which it comes, the high hills in the centre of Sicily, on an aromatic level Rosso del Conte never exceeds over-ripe notes, while guaranteeing full phenolic ripeness. Exuberant, vibrant, energetic in its youth, with ageing it develops a velvety tactile relief, without losing tone and taste progression. In its long history it has known various stylistic variations, particularly in the ageing technique: chestnut barrels, Slavonian oak, small French oak barrels. All the while maintaining its peculiar identity.
IGP Terre Siciliane rosé wine made from 100% Syrah grapes. With fresh spring and pomegranate aromas, sweet and drinkable with pleasant acidity.
