Fragore, ruby red in colour, presents a broad and deep bouquet with notes of wild blackberry and undergrowth that blend with balsamic, mineral (flint) and tobacco nuances. For its complexity and structure with important tannins, together with its remarkable persistence, this cru from Contrada Montelaguardia is an authentic expression of volcanic energy. Ideal on the table with legumes, mushrooms and savoury meats. As a tribute to star cuisine, it should be tried with turkey or barbecue ribs; among Asian dishes, it goes very well with Peking duck and with beef and pork stews. Excellent at 18 °C

Intro:
Sicily is one of the most wine-producing regions in Italy, together with Veneto, Emilia-Romagna and Apulia. Sicily's wine-growing traditions are ancient and date back to the Phoenicians, Romans, Greeks and Arabs.
Sicily boasts numerous indigenous grape varieties such as frappato, nero d'Avola, inzolia, catarratto, nerello mascalese and nerello cappuccio, malvasia delle Lipari and moscato d'Alessandria (zibibbo, from the Arabic zibib meaning 'a raisin').
Based on the type of grape, we can understand the cultivation area of the various vines mentioned above:
- Muscat wines, Moscato di Siracusa and Moscato di Noto we find them in the Syracuse area
- Wines based on Nero d'Avola, Frappato and Ceraselo di Vittoria DOCG are produced in the province of Ragusa
- Grillo, Grecanico, Catarratto and Inzolia vines are the protagonists of the Alcamo DOC
- La Malvasia delle Lipari famous Aeolian Islands in the Messina area
- On the slopes of Etna, considered 'an island within an island' due to the characteristic lava soil and the microclimate that characterises this area, we find Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, for red, rosé and sparkling wines and Catarratto and Carricante for white wines. From these vines are produced the famous Etna DOC.
- The province of Caltanissetta is home to one of Sicily's most recent DOCs, the Riesi
- Marsala is a historic DOC that takes its name from the municipality of the same name in the province of Trapani.
- Also in the province of Trapani is the island of Pantelleria, where the Passito di Pantelleria

Vinification and ageing system: Our reserve originates from the oldest estate vineyards that we call relics. Small terraces supported by ancient walls, which we have restored, are home here and there to vines with an extraordinary history, which we look after with care and respect. The grapes, a few bunches, two three per plant, are vinified in wooden vats where they macerate for about two weeks. After racking, the resulting wine is left to decant, until it clarifies, in cement vats before being racked into 25 hl French oak casks. From this moment on, a long period of ageing begins. Only after three years of ageing in the same cask is the wine decanted into a cement vat for a further six months before being bottled. At this point, we await it for a further six months to evaluate its evolution. For us, this product represents the perfect synthesis of Etna's magnetism where it takes a lot of patience and time to do well.
Organoleptic characteristics: Intense ruby red, typical mineral notes on the nose, with clear hints of red fruits, especially marasca cherry, caper, seaweed and red mulberries. In the mouth it is crisp, fresh with surprising sapidity, length and fullness. It has a good structure denoting sure longevity. Alcoholic degree 14%

San Lucio is the first large vineyard identified on the Regaleali Estate, from which the first and subsequent editions of Rosso del Conte were born. It covers about 7 hectares, 5.5 of which were planted in 1959 with mixed Perricone and Nero d'Avola vines, while a portion of about 1.5 hectares was planted in 1965 with Nero d'Avola alone. The altitude is 480 metres above sea level, with a south-southeast exposure. The soil is yellowish brown, loamy-sandy, partly calcareous, with a slight presence of skeleton; the pH is slightly alkaline (8.5). Regaleali's oldest vineyard usually confers medium vigour to the vines, a prerequisite for balanced ripening of red and medium-late grapes. It is able to withstand the influence of extreme climates, whether hot or cold, and produces a few grams of grapes per plant, with incredible constancy in quality. It is bush-trained, the oldest and most widespread form of cultivation in the semi-arid regions of the Mediterranean. The planting density also remains classic, at 4,400 vines per hectare, obtained by arranging the vines at a distance of 1.5 metres from each other. At Regaleali, short pruning is adopted for red varieties, with three/four spurs of two buds.
Short pruning is often combined with the presence of a brace to tie off the shoots that develop from the spurs.
The two varieties, Perricone and Nero d'Avola, have a similar vegetative cycle: they are fairly late grapes, ripening on average between late September and early October. A faithful expression of the terroir from which it comes, the high hills in the centre of Sicily, on an aromatic level Rosso del Conte never exceeds over-ripe notes, while guaranteeing full phenolic ripeness. Exuberant, vibrant, energetic in its youth, with ageing it develops a velvety tactile relief, without losing tone and taste progression. In its long history it has known various stylistic variations, particularly in the ageing technique: chestnut barrels, Slavonian oak, small French oak barrels. All the while maintaining its peculiar identity.
Since the last century, the Pietrarizzo district has been considered one of the most prized crus by the natives of the area.
The grape variety used is Nerello Mascalese arranged in terraces, vinified in cement tanks and aged in large wooden barrels.

Only the best harvests, using the oldest vineyards, over 50 years old and with the lowest yields, become Duca di Montalbo. The Cru is decisive: the Montalbo district is characterised by 100% limestone marl, a 'lunar' soil surprisingly suitable for the long maturation of red wines.

The Trimarchisa district is located in Verzella (a hamlet of Castiglione di Sicilia).
It is a ridge of lava soil, with the presence of limestone sediments, sloping down towards the Alcantara river.
The grape varieties used are Nerello Mascalese and a small part of Nerello Cappuoccio.
The vines have an average age of over 40 years.

Intense ruby red in colour, Mille e una Notte presents a broad and deep bouquet characterised by notes of black berry fruit (mulberry and currants), delicate balsamic hints (liquorice) and pleasant nuances of cocoa and vanilla. In the mouth it is soft and enveloping, and surprises with the great fineness of its tannins. It closes with a remarkable gustative length. Serve it with lamb loin, pappardelle with pork ragout, roast meat, filet alla Rossini. Excellent at 18°C

Etna's Nerello Mascalese, thanks to its light, brilliant colour, historically lends itself to producing quality rosé wines. From a parcel of a vineyard in Contrada Rampante, comes Tefra - from the Greek word for 'ash' - the pyroclastic material generated by a volcanic eruption. The nose is delicate and clean, true to Nerello Mascalese; very dynamic in the mouth, thanks to its freshness and sapidity.

The soils of the island of Mozia derive from seabed of marine origin. They are sandy and loose soils. The presence of limestone is important, which causes an alkaline reaction in the soil (pH 8.2) and influences the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes.
The depth of the soil allows the sapling to develop properly. The 'Marsala style' pruning is the most appropriate for Grillo, given the low fertility at the base of the shoot. Harvesting, slightly ahead of ideal ripeness, preserves some acidity to maintain the freshness of the sip and the longevity that the white of Mozia has demonstrated over the years.
The weather on the island of Mozia was characterised by a cool spring, with good rainfall in March that ensured a good water supply to the vines throughout the production cycle. Summer was very hot and dry, but well tolerated by the alberello, the typical form of cultivation of Grillo vines on the island of Mozia.
The harvest began on 18 August, starting with the young Khoton vineyard, and continued until 28 August with the harvest from the Eastern Steps vineyards.
Perfect ripeness and health of the grapes, good sugar content and excellent structure and aromaticity of the wine.
Fresh, savoury in which the acid component balances the alcohol component and makes the wine persistent, long and extremely mineral.

An ancient indigenous Friulian red grape variety that is very widespread and appreciated, Refosco hides, behind an apparently rustic character, the ability to give life to great wines of extreme elegance. The nose expresses fruity aromas reminiscent of cherry, blackberry and mandarin along with notes of sweet tobacco.
The palate opens sternly, then gives way to more complex aromatic sensations; it has a very elegant tannic texture, is fresh and has a spicy persistence on the finish.

In 1984, Count Giuseppe Tasca d'Almerita decided to celebrate 50 years of marriage to his wife Franca with a wine that would tell the story of the family and the estate. The uniqueness of the varietal composition is the sign of its romanticism, born from Inzolia and Tasca Sauvignon, a selection from a vineyard present at Regaleali since the end of the First World War. The use of selected yeasts from our own vineyards binds this wine even more indissolubly to its terroir. Fresh at a young age and capable of unsuspected longevity, balancing tertiary aromas with fruit intensity.
Delicate Muscat aroma with hints of ripe fruit, ideal with desserts and cream cheeses
