Neige d'Or is a rich blend of white grapes, selected and vinified with the experience of more than 40 years, on different varieties with different types of ageing. It is the result of a combination combining the specific characteristics of Petite Arvine, aged in large barrels, and Pinot Grigio, aged in barriques. The name Neige d'or, Neve d'oro in Italian, is inspired by the preciousness of the cuvée and the whiteness of the snow that whitens the Valle d'Aosta Mountains.

Petite Arvine Fleur grows in a single vineyard in the vocated area of Montjovet in the lower valley, historically recognised for the quality of its production. This is where a concentrated, richly aromatic Petite Arvine comes from. Brilliant, straw yellow with greenish notes. On the nose, floral and citrusy (white flowers, broom and orange blossom). On the palate, full and savoury, with a lingering finish.

Petite Arvine is a traditional late-ripening grape variety. Its name derives from the variety - Arvine - and the small size (petite in French) of its grapes. This wine is characterised by an intense minerality and salinity. Brilliant, straw yellow. The nose is floral (jasmine, peony), with notes of apple, plum and citrus fruits. On the palate savoury, balanced, with mineral nuances.

Red wine - Les Cretes - Fumin Valle d'Aosta Dop €25.50
The name Fumin derives from the smoky grey colour of its berries, rich in bloom. Traditionally used in blends for its intense colour, it risked extinction in the 1970s when, saved by local vignerons, it became part of the Valle d'Aosta DOC. It was vinified for the first time in purity by LesCretes in 1993, proving to be a wine of great elegance, suitable for long ageing in the bottle.

Les Cretes, by processing its Pinot Noir in steel only, obtains an elegant mountain Pinot, which is characterised by its luminous colour and complex, crisp fruit. Ruby with garnet reflections. Fruity nose (strawberry), with hints of sage and grapefruit. Fine, harmonious structure on the palate, accompanied by velvety tannins in a fresh, mineral finish.

Les Cretes began producing its Syrah in 1995 as a table wine because it was not recognised as a D.O.P. in Valle d'Aosta. In 2007, legislation changed and since then Les Cretes has continued to produce its Syrah D.O.P., renowned for its minerality and freshness, linked to its mountain character.

Red wine - Les Cretes - Torrette supérieur Valle d'Aosta Dop €21.50
Torrette is the largest area D.O.C. in Valle d'Aosta, from which the wine of the same name is made. Vinified with a prevalent base of Petit Rouge (an autochthonous variety), it is the most widespread and traditionally consumed autochthonous wine in the region. Torrette acquires the Superiore qualification, due to the long ageing it requires.
